Unhappiness cannot exist on its own. It occurs because of thoughts, which can be changed

Allow Your Strength To Be Revealed In Your Words And Actions !

The method to finish a weakness is to be detached from it. When there is some weakness working within that has to be overcome, it is very essential for one to get detached from it, that means not to identify with the weakness. If there is an identification with the weakness, it is further strengthened and there is the inability to get rid of it. Since it is there in the consciousness, it is visible in the words and actions too. When we are free from the identification with the weakness, we are able to bring about a change very quickly. We find it very easy to stabilise ourselves in the awareness of our strength and allow that strength to be revealed in all our words and actions. There is no heaviness of the weakness nor is there the feeling of having to give up something, but transformation takes place very easily.

Take Back Your Power

One of the biggest mistakes we make when feeling stuck is telling ourselves that our inability to move forward is due solely to outside circumstances – a lack of money, too many problems, or the influence of other people, for example. All of us will be faced with real-life challenges. That’s a fact. But our place of power always lies in the recognition that we have choices. They may be tough choices like selling a home to relieve financial pressure or walking away from an abusive relationship to reclaim our self-esteem, but never mistake tough choices with having no choice at all. You always have choices.

I Can Do Anything

Regardless of whether or not you believe it or whether it seems rational, do it anyway. Say it to yourself when you first wake up, repeat it in your mind while brushing your teeth, sing it to yourself while driving to work or getting the kids ready for school. Then, keep at it through lunch and dinner, all the way up to when you fall asleep. Just keep telling yourself that you can do anything and notice how your mood and perspective shifts.

With Inner Happiness We Can Move Forward with Lightness

To work with the inner happiness is to move forward with lightness. Usually we do take care not to give sorrow to others, but we sometimes do take sorrow from the words and behaviour of others. This disturbs our own inner state and we are not able to work with lightness. Then we find that we are not able to be effective in our work and this further effects our inner state. We need to pay special attention not to take sorrow from anyone. As much as we are careful not to give sorrow to others, we need to make sure we don't take any sorrow too. That means we need to remain light by keeping ourselves open to criticism. We need to take any criticism that comes our way in the right spirit and see that we learn from it without having any negative thoughts.

Circle of Power

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else’s circle.

Live It

However mean your life is, meet it and live it: do not shun it and call it hard names. Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Things do not change, we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.

Are You Emotionally Generous?

There is a wonderful mythical law of nature that the three things we crave most in life – happiness, freedom, and peace of mind – are always attained by giving them to someone else.

To get up each morning with the resolve to be happy is to set our own conditions to the events of each day. To do this is to condition circumstances instead of being conditioned by them.

- Ralph Waldo Trine
Be an appreciator of the seemingly small things in life; a smile, a kind word, a beautiful flower, a few hours of unstructured time, a laughing child, for it is the small things that become the warp and weft of the fabric of your life.

A Reason for Being Here

Everyone has a song in their heart. Everyone has a reason for being here and a season for making their highest, greatest most auspicious contribution. No one knows what that is or when it is for anyone else. Only our own heart knows what and when it is for us. Your heart wants to sing.

Connect with the Angels

To connect with the angels we must trust our inner voice. Have a talk with your spirit guides, experience the extraordinary and embrace the beauty within for doing so will enable you to live the life you want to live. We are all Earth Angels and our souls are the place where heaven and earth meet. By knowing yourself you change the world for the better and live your higher self. The World's Grief

Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world's grief. Do justly, now. Love mercy, now. Walk humbly, now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.

Those Who Have Little

Avoid or Ignore Loss

When we lose one blessing, another is often most unexpectedly given in its place

- C.S. Lewis

Do not allow yourself to be held hostage in unwanted situations for fear of the unknown. When you do stay in unwanted situations – that hated job, or that unsatisfying relationship, you are missing better things in store for you. You may be missing the opportunity to do work that you love; or, you may miss experiencing the love of your life.

As I see it, you deserve to experience as much happiness and contentment as you can stand. It may take a little planning and a lot of courage, but you’re worth it. These inspirational thoughts say it best: “It’s true that we don’t know what we’ve got until we lose it, but it’s also true that we don’t know what we’ve been missing until it arrives.

The Cause of Our Anger

It is best if we do not listen to or look at the person whom we consider to be the cause of our anger. Like a fireman, we have to pour water on the blaze first and not waste time looking for the one who set the house on fire. "Breathing in, I know that I am angry. Breathing out, I know that I must put all my energy into caring for my anger." So we avoid thinking about the other person, and we refrain from doing or saying anything as long as our anger persists. If we put all our mind into observing our anger, we will avoid doing any damage that we may regret later.

- Thich Nhat Hanh

We spend most of our time and energy in a kind of horizontal thinking.
We move along the surface of things going from one quick base to another,
often with a frenzy that wears us out. We collect data, things, people, ideas,
"profound experiences," never penetrating any of them. . . .
But there are other times. There are times when we stop.
We lose ourselves in a pile of leaves or its memory.
We listen and breezes from a whole other world begin to whisper.

- James Carroll

Line Between Failure and Success

The line between failure and success is so fine that we . . . are often
on the line and do not know it. How many a person has thrown up
his or her hands at a time when a little more effort,
a little more patience, would have achieved success.
A little more persistence, a little more effort,
and what seemed hopeless failure may turn to glorious success.

Brain Dump

You may find some thoughts distracting you while you are working on something. Empty out all these thoughts, concerns and worries in your mind into somewhere, whether a document or some paper. After you pen them down, you can focus on your task at hand and deal with those things at a later time.

Words of Inspiration for the World

Crying, that is, sobbing is the earliest and deepest way to release tension. Infants can cry almost from the moment of birth, and do so easily following every stress that produces a state of tension in the body... Human beings are the only creatures who can react in this way to stress and tension. Most probably, they are the only ones who need this form of release.

Harmony in Relationships

Patience brings harmony in relationships. When there is a misunderstanding in a relationship we hardly put in any effort in order to understand the other person. We tend to become impatient and we don't listen to the other person to understand them. Because of which we start inventing things about them. This only further increases the misunderstanding. When we have a difference of opinion with someone, we need to give some time to understand and listen to the other person. Only then will we be able to understand the other person's point of view. This practice will enable us to finish any misunderstanding we have with others and bring harmony in relationships.

Inner Peace & Happiness

You try hard to let go... And it backfires. The more you repeat: I want to let go, the more you hang on to your fears and emotions.
Inner peace is not about forcing yourself to be what you are not.
Inner peace stems from a sense of knowing who you really are:
You have asked yourself the difficult questions.
You have listened to your own answers, deep inside. You accept them.

This is an effective way of controlling your own happiness.

The Present Moment

Life can be found only in the present moment. The past is gone, the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life.
