What's possible is possible now. What's possible is possible for you.
You can't undo what's already happened. However, you can choose right now from a limitless array of what's possible as you move forward.
Don't limit your thinking to just what's likely or what's probable. Infinitely expand your choices by considering all that is possible.
If you feel stuck, it's probably because you are holding your imagination back. Consider what you've not yet considered, and expect much more than you've ever dared to expect.
Open yourself to what's possible. And delight in living the best of the possibilities.
-- Ralph Marston

We have a lot of focus and concentration when we are driving on a freeway or writing an exam, but when it comes to simple tasks like walking, eating or just sitting on a bus, we let our mind wander. This is when we are trying to jump moments by going into past or the future and abandon the present.
“Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.”
It is very important to understand that staying in the present moment and being aware of what you are doing significantly improves concentration and makes even simplest of tasks more enjoyable. For example, if you let your mind wander when you eat, you might not even notice the taste of your food, let alone enjoy it.

Of course, people want to live long. But in the end, what matters more is what we have been able to leave behind -- the value we have created in our lives, the number of people we have made happy and how much we have been able to grow and expand as a person.
The word "character" originated from the Greek words meaning "sculpture" and "impression." Character, then, could be thought of that which is shaped or etched. It may be true from a medical perspective that our psychological and physiological traits are generally predetermined genetically. Knowing this, however, adds little to our lives. All that matters is how we can better ourselves here and now.

One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon-instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today.
- Dale Carnegie
as fall that returns again
where spring was,
and love turning to hate
and in the end becoming
the original essence again.
And as we weave events
upon events in the loom of life,
as waters flow
in its ebb and tide, so must
death follow each rebirth,
as life renews itself all over again.
Through all the changing seasons,
through all the weathers of the heart,
something still holds fast
in these deadly times: that he
alone who serves love shall survive,
he alone who shares the gift of Life.

The truth is that enlightenment is neither remote nor unattainable. It
is closer than your skin and more immediate than your next breath. If
we wonder why so few seem able to find that which can never be lost,
we might recall the child who was looking in the light for a coin he
dropped in the dark because "the light is better over here." Mankind
has spent ages looking in the light for a coin that awaits us not in
light and not in dark, but beyond all opposites.

Every action has a certain and unavoidable consequence. Everything you do makes a difference in one way or another.
Whether that fact is a blessing or a curse is completely up to you. For just as surely as you choose your actions, you do indeed choose your consequences.
The value that you experience in life is precisely equal to the value that you put into life. You can make your journey a miserable burden, or you can make it a joyous celebration.
What you do with what you have makes all the difference in the world. And now is your opportunity to create a vast, sparkling treasure of experience and fulfillment.
This very day, you can stop struggling to avoid the consequences and start to thoroughly enjoy them. Give your authentic best to every moment, and delight in the magnificent consequences of your positive actions.
- Ralph Marston

If there is righteousness in the heart
There will be beauty in the character;
If there is beauty in the character
There will be harmony in the home;
When there is harmony in the home
There will be order in the nation;
When there is order in the nation
There will be peace in the world.

The good you find in others, is in you too.
The faults you find in others, are your faults as well.
After all, to recognize something you must know it.
The possibilities you see in others, are possible for you as well.
The beauty you see around you, is your beauty.
The world around you is a reflection, a mirror showing you the person you are.
To change your world, you must change yourself.
See the best in others, and you will be your best.
Give to others, and you will give to yourself.
Appreciate beauty, and you will be beautiful.
Admire creativity, and you will be creative.
Love, and you will be loved.
Seek to understand, and you will be understood.
Listen, and your voice will be heard.
Teach, and you will learn.

Use Mother Nature to teach children the basics of human psychology.
All about child development and your development as a parent.
How parenting is a path of personal growth for child and parent.
How to create a lifelong, mutually fulfilling relationship with your child.
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Increasing your self-awareness is about living authentically and overcoming your fears. As a child, you may have been encouraged to conform or face the consequences! Most people conform...and lose themselves in the process.
Authentic living and self-awareness is about expressing honest thoughts, feelings, and opinions without condemning or judging others - and it's difficult! Overcoming fear is key.
Increasing your self-awareness is a journey full of failures and successes. Finding your identity is a process with no real end point. That is, you'll never be "done" because you're always growing and changing - and so are the people around you.

Some of the things that discourage us at times are too insignificant to even allow them to determine our destiny. I do understand that at times it can be a situation that is beyond your control. What ever it may be, try to exercise some patience and look forward to another day. Do not make decisions when you are most vulnerable because you might regret them later on.

wealth - even that fades away. Go for someone who
makes you smile because only a smile makes a dark day
seem bright. Hope you find that person.
2. There are moments in life when you really miss
someone so much that you want to pick them from your
dreams and hug them for real! Hope you dream of that someone.
3. Dream what you want to dream; Go where you want to
go; Be what you want to be; because you have only
one life and one chance to do all the things you want in life.
4. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,
enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow
to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy,
and enough money to buy gifts!!
5. When one door of happiness closes, another opens
but often we look so long at the closed door that
we don't see the one which has been opened for us.
6. The best kind of friend is the one you could
sit with on a porch swing, never saying a word,
and then walk away feeling like that was the best
conversation you've ever had.
7. It's true that we don't know what we've got until
we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know
what we've been missing until it arrives.
8. Always put yourself in another's shoes. if you feel
that it hurts you, it probably does hurt that person, too.
9. A careless word may kindle strife; A cruel word
may wreck a life; A timely word may level stress;
A loving word may heal and bless.
10. The beginning of love is to let those we love be
perfectly themselves, and not twist them with our
own image - otherwise, we love only the reflection
of ourselves we find in them.
11. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the most of everything
that comes their way.
12. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people
before meeting the right one so that when we finally
do meet the right person, we should know how to
be grateful for that gift.
13. It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an
hour to like someone and a day to love someone -
but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
14. Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt,
those who have searched and those who have tried.
For only they can appreciate the importance
of people who have touched their lives.
15. Love is when you take away the feeling, the
passion, the romance and you find out you still
care for that person.
16. A sad thing about life is that sometimes you meet
someone who means a lot to you only to find out
in the end that it was never bound to be and
you just have to let go.
17. Love starts with a smile, develops with a kiss
and ends with a tear.
18. Love comes to those who still hope even though
they've been disappointed; to those who still believe
even though they've been betrayed; to those
who still need love even though they've been hurt before.
19. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in
return, but what is the most painful is to love
someone and never finding the courage to let the
person know how you feel.
20. The brightest future will always be based on a
forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you
let go of your past failures and heartaches.
21. Never say goodbye when you still want to try -
never give up when you still feel you can take it -
never say you don't love that person anymore when
you can't let go.
22. Giving someone all your love is never an assurance
that they'll love you back! Don't expect love
in return, just wait for it to grow in their hearts;
but if it doesn't, be content that it grew in yours.
23. There are things you love to hear but you would
never hear it from the person whom you would like
to hear it from, but don't be deaf to hear it from the
person who says it with his heart.
24. When you were born, you were crying and everyone
around you was smiling - live your life so that
when you die, you're smiling and everyone around
you is crying.

Developed daily by imitation
Opens the door to empathy
And the capacity to love.
The power of consciousness
Allowing the option of self-renewal
Extension of the senses in turn
Sharpens the mind.
The goal of positive action
Coupled to implementation
Creates positive self-expression
And to the inevitable social evolution.

positive affect increases ones own perceptions of expectancy
lasting motivation requires cognitive processes ( thinking)
daily positive reinforcement is required to transform behavioral changes

Remember, the mind likes to assume it "know what it knows" but often its perceptions are just not accurate. Yet strong judgments are made all the time based on limited information...When we judge someone and then adopt an attitude toward them, that shuts down other possibilities and locks us away from the insight of our hearts.

to make a fresh beginning.
A chance to blot out our mistakes
And change failure into winning.
It does not take a new day
To make a brand new start,
It only takes a deep desire
To try with all our heart.
To live a little better
And to always be forgiving
And to add a little sunshine
To the world in which we're living.
So never give up in despair
And think that you are through,
For there's always a tomorrow
And the hope of starting new.

A group of frogs were traveling through the woods and two of them fell into a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead. The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit with all of their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead. Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down and died.
The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. He jumped even harder and finally made it out.
When he got out, the other frogs said, "Did you not hear us?" The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the entire time.
This story teaches two lessons:
There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day.
A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill them. Be careful of what you say.
Speak life to those who cross your path. The power of words....it is sometimes hard to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in difficult times.
Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another.
Be special to others.

It takes courage
To refrain from gossip
When others delight in it,
To stand up for the absent person
Who is being abused.
It takes courage
To live honestly
Within your means,
And not dishonestly
On the means of others.
It takes courage
To be a REAL man or a TRUE woman,
To hold fast to your ideals
When it causes you
To be looked upon
As strange and peculiar.
It takes courage
To be talked about,
And remain silent,
When a word would justify you
In the eyes of others,
But which you dare not speak
Because it would injure another.
It takes courage
To refuse to do something
That is wrong
Although everyone else
May be doing it
With attitudes as carefree
As a summer song.
It takes courage
To live according
To your own convictions,
To deny yourself
What you cannot afford.
To love your neighbor
