Character

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

Personal Touch

Put a small personal touch on everything you do. –– Think of it as branding your work. If you’re funny, add a little humor into it. If you’re an artist, decorate it with illustrations. Whatever you do, customize it with a little personal touch of ‘you.’

Who You Become

The content of your character is your choice. Day by day, what you choose, what you think and what you do is who you become.

Emotion Doesn't Mean Our Character

Just because we are experiencing a certain uncomfortable emotion doesn’t mean our character, our soul, has been downgraded. It just means for that moment, in that small space of time, we feel a certain way about ourselves. When we allow ourselves to be human and give our spirit the grace and mercy it deserves, we are in a better position to reframe self-limiting thoughts and keep them from manifesting to the point they begin to define who we are.

Think Positively

When you build a house, every brick counts, when you build character, every thought counts. Your thoughts create your feelings. To save yourself from useless and painful feelings, don't think about useless and negative things. Make every thought you think worthwhile and constructive.

How to Be a Better Person

Changing the world begins first with changing ourselves. Self improvement involves means taking an honest look at ourselves to identify our shortcomings and improve them. These steps will begin your journey into being a better person

Look for the best qualities of others and yourself. Take advantage of situations where you can exercise your best qualities and highlight those of others. Record your thoughts daily and review them to visualize what affects us and how. Schedule a window for quiet time each day.

Give others the same dignity that you would expect to receive. Recognize that status or income levels do not make the man nor determine his value. Take time to actually hear what others have to say instead of interjecting your own personal thoughts or simply not paying attention.

Become involved in what others have to say by asking sincere questions and waiting for an answer. This will enhance your relationships, allowing you to make positive contributions to a healthy friendship.

Provide assistance to others when needed, going out of your way if necessary. Acts of kindness are often met with reciprocal acts of kindness. You are further demonstrating how to be a better person and reaping the rewards from your efforts while making others feel special.

Character

The word "character" originated from the Greek words meaning "sculpture" and "impression." Character, then, could be thought of that which is shaped or etched. It may be true from a medical perspective that our psychological and physiological traits are generally predetermined genetically. Knowing this, however, adds little to our lives. All that matters is how we can better ourselves here and now.

Peace in the World

If there is righteousness in the heart
There will be beauty in the character;
If there is beauty in the character
There will be harmony in the home;
When there is harmony in the home
There will be order in the nation;
When there is order in the nation
There will be peace in the world.

Change My Thoughts

I'm beginning to see that the only lasting way to change my life and circumstances is to change my thoughts. My thoughts ultimately affect my habits, my character and then my circumstances.

How to Become a Better Person

All of us want to live with freedom, with joy and love and can solve easily all the problems. This is the stage of become light (like angel). So how can we do this?

Stop being angry. Don’t be suppressed, but don’t express anger. Both ways bring you heavy outcomes. Just be assertive.

Bathe. You can remove all the dust, and negative vibrations through this way.

Breathe in and out deeply while imagining you are letting the new energy come into you, and all the heaviness, tiredness go out.

Play a lot of positive thoughts in your mind. Then you will see your positive life go out!

Always keep zeal and enthusiasm for yourself. This will make you have flying stage.
Meditate, or use relaxation techniques.

Help others.

Be aware. Have awareness about what you attain. If you have this awareness, how can you feel stress, heavy about life any more?

Eat in the right way. Do not eat too much and also choose to eat right things when you do eat. For example: Meat and fish can cause your digestive system to work too hard and become tired. Instead of that, choose food like tofu, beans - in fact, these bring much more protein and less toxins into your system.

Sing! Laugh! Be humourous! Do something that makes your heart happy and makes you feel like dancing.

Character

CHARACTER is the result of hundreds and hundreds of choices you make that gradually turn who you are, at any given moment, into who you want to be. If that decision-making process is not present, you will still be somebody. You will still be alive, but may have a personality rather than a character.

CHARACTER is not something you were born with and can't change like your fingerprint. In fact, because you weren't born with it, it is something that you must take responsibility for creating. I don't believe that adversity by itself builds character and I certainly don't think that success erodes it. Character is built by how you respond to what happens in your life. Whether it's winning every game or losing every game. Getting rich or dealing with hard times. You build character out of certain qualities that you must create and diligently nurture within yourself.

CHARACTER sustains itself and nurtures itself even as it is being put to work, tested, and challenged. And once character is formed, it will serve as a solid, lasting foundation upon which to build the life you desire.

To Your Success,

The Best That Is In You

Promise yourself to be so strong that
nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
Look at the sunny side of everything and
make your optimism come true. Think only
of the best, work only for the best, and
expect only the best. Forget the mistakes
of the past and press on to the greater
achievements of the future. Give so much
time to the improvement of yourself that
you have no time to criticize others. Live
in faith that the whole world is on
your side so long as you are true to the
Best that is in you!

Appreciating What You Have

Happiness comes only from appreciating what you have right now. You can even be happy by appreciating your troubles because they are helping to build your character.

Character Building

A fair reputation is a plant, delicate in its nature, and by no means rapid in its growth. It will not shoot up in a night like the gourd of the prophet; but, like that gourd, it may perish in a night.

Be Careful of These Things

Be careful of your thoughts, for your thoughts become your words.
Be careful of your words, for your words become your actions.
Be careful of your actions, for your actions become your habits.
Be careful of your habits, for your habits become your character.
Be careful of your character, for your character becomes your destiny.

Character

Be.
Virtuous.
Full of character.
Present at all times.
Visible, to those who know.
Whole, Living in Spirit, Loving, and In Service.
Friendships based only in expansion and deepening of Spirit.
For Love that has any other purpose ends, absent of anything real.
