Accept everything about yourself, I mean everything, you are you and that is the beginning and the end, no apologies, no regrets.
Clark Moustakas

Accept Yourself
The first step toward change is acceptance. Once you accept yourself, you open the door to change. That’s all you have to do. Change is not something you do, it’s something you allow.

The Word Grace
Grace means more than gifts. In grace something is transcended, once and for all overcome. Grace happens in spite of something; it happens in spite of separateness and alienation. Grace means that life is once again united with life, self is reconciled with self. Grace means accepting the abandoned one. Grace transforms fate into a meaningful vocation. It transforms guilt to trust and courage. The word grace has something triumphant in it.

Never
Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim; accept no ones definition of your life; define yourself.

Who You Are
Be Yourself. There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life, and it is up to you to accept them. Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are.

Power to Take Control
Each person has the power to take control of every circumstance in life to change, improve, and make it better day by day. Not one of us can say: “I must accept whatever comes my way,” because the way we choose to go through life is our decision. The power of change is always in your hands.

Positive Thinking
Positive thinking makes people light heartedly accept whatever conditions their lives are in, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they stop trying to better their lives.

Accept Your Child's Path
Sometimes it’s difficult to accept your child’s path other than the one you had hoped and planned for them. So be reminded it is your responsibility to "give them roots and give them wings". Give them a solid foundation of love, but give them the freedom to follow their dreams.

You will make mistakes. Everyone does. You will have regrets. You must learn to accept these things and learn how to move on. Dwelling too long on mistakes serves no purpose but to cause you unnecessary pain. You won't learn from mistakes by hating yourself for making them. Take responsibility for mistakes, take measures to rectify them if possible, and then move on.

To Let Go
Does not mean to stop caring, it means you can't do it for someone else.
Does not mean to cut yourself off, it is the realization that you can't do it for someone else.
Does not mean to care for, it means to care about.
Does not mean to fix, it means to be supportive.
Does not mean to change another, it means to make the most of yourself.
Does not mean to deny, it means to accept.
Does not mean to nag or scold, it means to listen.
Does not mean to regret the past, it is to live for the future.
It means that we should admit we are frequently powerless and that someone else's outcome may not be in our hands.

Learn to Accept Constructive Criticism
Honest criticism is hard to take, particularly from a relative, a friend, an acquaintance or a stranger. ~ Franklin P. Jones ~ [Source]
When one has done something, comments and criticisms come fast and furious. Depending the person’s mood during the comments, it can be harsh when the person had a bad day and just found the action or post irritating.
Learn
At other times, someone will tell you something on how to improve it when you thought it was the right way to do it. Constructive criticism consists of what was wrong and how to make it better the next time round. It isn’t easy to accept criticisms and one is always on the path of learning to accept constructive ones.
Listen
At work, your boss tells you that you have made a client angry by rejecting the changes outright. He starts to let you know that this client is an important client and even if the client is making changes that can’t be done, the discussion could have gone another way. You start to lash out at your boss. However, it gets you nowhere. You are the only one who can make the changes to yourself. Start by holding your tongue and listen.
Accept
You can’t just change habits overnight. You need time for it. No one is perfect and don’t berate yourself for making mistakes. Accept the criticisms. Life is short. Wasting it on getting angry gets one nowhere.
