Be nice and smile to everyone you meet. You don’t know what they are going through, and they might just need that smile. At least for a moment, it
would make a lot of difference to them.
Life gives us many such moments to make others feel better. For tomorrow
when you feel low, someone might smile and you may feel better.

As I Walk Through Life...
I've learned-
that you can do something in an instant
that will give you heartache for life.
I've learned-
that you should always leave
loved ones with loving words.
It may be the last time you see them.
I've learned-
that you can keep going long after you can't.
I've learned-
that we are responsible for what we do,
no matter how we feel.
I've learned-
that either you control your
attitude or it controls you.
I've learned-
that money is a lousy way of keeping score.
I've learned-
that my best friend and I can do anything
or nothing and have the best time.
I've learned-
that sometimes when I'm angry
I have the right to be
angry, but that doesn't give me
the right to be cruel.
I've learned-
that just because someone doesn't love you the
way you want them to doesn't mean they
don't love you with all they have.
I've learned-
that no matter how good a friend is,
they're going to hurt you every once
in a while and you must forgive them for that.
I've learned-
that it isn't always enough to
be forgiven by others,
Sometimes you have to learn
to forgive yourself.
I've learned-
that just because two people argue, it doesn't
mean they don't love each other.
I've learned-
that two people can look at
the exact same thing
and see something totally different.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is a beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is life, fight for it!

To have knowledge in the intellect is to be constantly cheerful. When something negative happens, we find that there are only negative or waste thoughts about the situation or people. We try hard not to think about it but we find only those thoughts coming to our mind. With such thoughts the situation seems worse than it is and we find it difficult to remain cheerful. In such situations instead of trying to cut out waste we need to give ourselves something positive to think about. When the intellect is busy thinking about the positive, there'll be no room for negativity. In this way we will be able to remain constantly cheerful even in the most negative situations.

Smile
Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing. ~ Mother Teresa
Have you smiled today? Put on a smile right now. Really, as you are reading this post, start smiling. Let the smile grow to a great big happy smile. Imagine the smile energy flowing through your body. Let it wash away any stress and tension. How do you feel now? Did you notice a shift in your mood?
Smiling is such a simple thing. It is easy to do and it can make a positive difference in your life. You can lift your mood and spirits simply by smiling. Research shows that our facial expressions influence our mood. In other words, if you make an angry face, your body begins to exhibit changes associated with anger. Smiling elicits happy feelings. Not only does smiling change your mood, but it can influence others as well. Think about it... when you smile at someone, they often smile back. So you are spreading the good feelings and good mood.
Try this experiment... smile at everyone you see today. Even if you are not in a good mood, try smiling at others. You will likely lift your mood and brighten the day for others too! If you notice a co-worker or friend is in a bad mood, ask them to try smiling. Start all of your interactions with others with a nice big friendly smile. Notice how this influences your day. Smiles are contagious - start spreading it around today! Share your experiences here by leaving a comment.

Power of Our Thoughts
If we understood the power of our thoughts,
we would guard them more closely.
If we understood the awesome power of our words,
we would prefer silence to almost anything negative.
In our thoughts and words we create
our own weaknesses and our own strengths.
Our limitations and joys begin in our hearts.
We can always replace negative with positive.

Accept things as they are, people as they are. Don't demand anything. Don't put conditions: "Only when you do this does it prove that you love me." Rise above all this. Our attitude, our approach, our love should be unconditional. Simply accept people for what they are, as they are. Learn to love everyone and everyone will love you, no doubt. Then, life is worth living. The world becomes a heaven on earth for you.

Becoming more neutral is the first step toward non-judgment. Eventually, you begin to see the deeper aspects of life and people that are really wonderful, some might even say divine. Instead of quickly identifying people's faults and seeing them through that lens, you begin to lead with love. Not only do the people around you start to look better, but your entire spirit is enhanced by that generous, life-giving quality.

A happy day is the breeze blowing through your hair.
A happy day is sun shine warming your skin.
A happy day is eating your favorite meal.
A happy day is having personal time to yourself.
A happy day is walking awayfrom the stresses of life.
A happy day is appreciating having your health.
A happy day is reflecting on all the special people who are there for you.
A happy day is appreciating that you were given this day to enjoy,
so make the best of it.

Presence
As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence actually liberates others.

The Ego
To the ego, the present moment hardly exists. Only past and future are considered important. This total reversal of the truth accounts for the fact that in the ego mode the mind is so dysfunctional. It is always concerned with keeping the past alive, because without it - who are you?

Enlightenment
Enlightenment is finding that there is nothing to find. Enlightenment is to come to know that there is nowhere to go. Enlightenment is the understanding that this is all, that this is perfect, that this is it. Enlightenment is not an achievement, it is an understanding that there is nothing to achieve, nowhere to go. You are already there -- you have never been away. You cannot be away from there. God has never been missed. Maybe you have forgotten, that's all. Maybe you have fallen asleep, that's all.

Appreciate Yourself
Everyone has strengths, weaknesses, habits, and principles that define who you are and can make you distinctive. Spend more time focusing on the qualities about yourself that you like and less on the ones that you dislike.
Dishearten by Any Failure
Do not allow yourselves to be disheartened by any failure as long as you have done your best.

Just as a piece of paper is the fruit, the combination of many elements that can be called non-paper elements, the individual is made of non-individual elements. If you are a poet, you will see clearly that there is a cloud floating in this sheet of paper. Without a cloud there will be no water; without water, the trees can not grow; and without trees you cannot make paper. So the cloud is in here. The existance of this page is dependent on the existence of a cloud. Paper and cloud are so close. Let us think of other things, like sunshine. Sunshine is very important becasue the forest cannot grow without sunshine, and we humans cannot grow without sunshine.

Ambitious Goal
It is a paradoxical but profoundly true and important principle of life that the most likely way to reach a goal is to be aiming not at that goal itself but at some more ambitious goal beyond it.

How often we wish for another chance
To make a fresh beginning.
A change to blot out our mistakes.
And start a new inning.
To live a little better
And to always be forgiving,
To add a little sunshine
To the world in which we're living.
So never give up in despair
And think that you are through,
For there's always a tomorrow
And a chance to start a new.
Strength, Courage and Confidence
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face… The danger lies in refusing to face the fear, in not daring to come to grips with it… You must make yourself succeed every time. You must do the thing you think you cannot do.

The Greatest Help
I have found that the greatest help in meeting any problem with
decency and self-respect and whatever courage is demanded, is to know
where you yourself stand. That is, to have in words what you believe
and are acting from.

All is a miracle.
People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle.
But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air,
but to walk on earth.
Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize:
A blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child
Our own two eyes.
All is a miracle.
~ Thich Nhat Hanh
Everything Unfolds Accordingly
