A Prayer for Healing

When someone is in need of healing, whether you know them well or not at all, visualize them while saying the following prayer.

I send you love and light, my friend, from my heart to yours—to love you, to protect you, to guide you, to heal you, to cherish you, to comfort you. Bless you, my friend. You are beautiful and you are loved.

Know that the loving energy you transmit may ease the recipient’s pain, comfort their soul, and bolster their strength and resolve.

The beauty of this prayer is that it also is perfect for resolving hurt, anger and resentment. After all, you cannot release a hurt until you send it love. By directing this prayer to the person you feel ill will toward, you break the hold that person has over you by bathing them in love and asking that the conflict be resolved for your higher good as well as theirs.
