Seeing the True Self
It is easy to judge someone by their actions or words,
but quite the opposite to recognize them for doing
the best they can with the tools they were given in life.
It isn’t often we meet someone during the
course of our lifetime who will meet or exceed
our standards in life.
What we see isn’t necessarily the true self,
it is who we want to see through our opinions.
To see the true self one must
look beyond what their eyes see
and go deep within the soul to see the true self.
The true self is generally guarded and protected,
seldom revealed for fear of beings judged or
ridiculed for their beliefs.
The next time you form an opinion of someone,
give them a chance to ignite the flame buried
deep within them and inspire them to shine.
You might find out there's more that what you
you ever imagined.
What separates us and makes us all unique
are the tools that we are given in life.
