In order to be proud of whom you are, one must figure out who they are. Society today tells us that there are certain ways to gain notoriety and popularity and many people instead of presenting themselves to the world as the person that they really are, choose to present themselves to the world as similar to the images of people who are known as possible, in order to gain a false sense of confidence and self esteem.
Real confidence and real self esteem stems from presenting yourself to the world as the person that you really are, and going after the things in your heart that you know will help change the world in order to make it a better place. Being proud of who you are is being yourself on a daily basis, and showing the world that despite what popular opinion says and does, being yourself is the biggest most honest statement anyone can ever present to the world.
