Light of Verse

On this
My trail of solitude
I found a place of verse

A sea
Of sweet tranquility
In which I could immerse

Myself and thoughts
Soaked to the bone
Fraught with such emotion

This ink
Releasing everything
I held with such devotion

Loneliness
It knew no friend
With bonds as strong as mine

Until
I happened on this place
Where finally light could shine
