To be able to truly appreciate the beauty of Sakura which blossoms only a few days a year, one must live thru the coldness of winter in Japan. For only during the transition from cold to warm, that is when Sakura blooms. That is the moment when one can really feel the contrast between the cold and warm and can appreciate the beauty of spring that comes with the beautiful gentle pink blossoms of Sakura.
