Thinking

Some flowers grow best in the Sun while others do well in Shade.

Remember, we are put where we grow the best and accordingly we get people and situations to grow with.

If you don't run your own life, somebody else will.

- John Atkinson

Act in Spite of Your Mood

It takes courage to act regardless of your current mood. It's easy to succumb to your feelings. But remember, your feelings come from your thoughts, and you have the power to change your thoughts. When you change your thoughts, you will change the way you feel. Instead of focusing on how you're not in the mood, focus on the benefit of completing whatever needs to get done. Focus on how you'll feel when you’re finished and how proud you'll be of yourself for acting in spite of not being in the perfect mood.

Real Treasure To Be Found

If you're always chasing happiness, it will never be able to find you. Relax, simply give happiness a place to live in you, and it will be in great abundance.

When you put conditions on enjoyment, it turns into just another chore. Let go, and sincerely enjoy the miracle that is your life as it comes to you in each moment.

If you become overly attached to specific results, you set yourself up for disappointment and disillusionment. Be ambitious, yet do not be your ambition.

Sometimes, when things fail to go the way you planned, they turn out better than you could have possibly expected. Welcome life's surprises and choose to see the positive value that is in each one of them.

Don't be too quick to place judgments on the people, situations and events in your life. In everything that comes along, there is an opportunity for you to more fully discover and express your true purpose.

Be open to whatever life brings your way. There is real treasure to be found in it all.

Have a Big Heart

To have a big heart means never to be disheartened. To have a big heart means to have good wishes constantly for others and to enable others to move forward through this. Even if someone with negative characteristics comes in front, there are no feelings of negativity as there is the power to accept and recognize their specialties. We are able to be beyond confusion and doubt when we have a big heart. We are never caught up with the problems but are very easily able to find a way out. We are able to very effectively and smoothly come out of any negative situation.

Failure and Disappointment

Accept pain, failure and disappointment as a part of life, not the entirety of it. Life involves taking many risks every day, and not all of them will end positively. That's what defines risk. But the flip side is that some actions will lead to good results, and it's generally better to have a mixed bag than to have nothing at all. Ideally, the good stuff will outweigh the bad, but you'll never reach that point unless you put yourself out there and hope for the best. When in doubt, remember Lord Alfred Tennyson's words of wisdom:

I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.

The Dark Night of the Soul

Observe What is Happening

Try to observe what is happening and how your mind is reacting to these interruptions. This really helps in capturing the present moment and prevents you from being frustrated and discontent.

A small trouble is like a pebble. Hold it too close to your eye and it fills the whole world and puts everything out of focus. Hold it at a proper distance and it can be examined and properly classified. Throw it at your feet and it can be seen in its true setting, just one more tiny bump on the pathway to life.

Life of A Man

You have noticed that everything as Indian does is in a circle, and that is because the Power of the World always works in circles, and everything tries to be round..... The Sky is round, and I have heard that the earth is round like a ball, and so are all the stars. The wind, in its greatest power, whirls. Birds make their nest in circles, for theirs is the same religion as ours.... Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always come back again to where they were. The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is in everything where power moves.

The World is Not Against YOU

Let go of the assumption that the world is against you, or that you were born with a gray cloud over your head. It is an assumption that has no basis in reason or science. To believe that the universe or a spiritual entity has singled you out and shifted the world order just to make your life miserable is both self-centered and illogical. Be humble and stop pretending you've got the world all figured out. Sometimes bad experiences lead to good experiences, and you can't predict the future, so you can't assume it'll always be bad.

3 Idiots dares to challenge the monotonous stream of education persisting in India without going too much into a social propaganda but the tone in which it delivers is light. A laugh-riot that talks about the most important of human pursuits: self-actualization.

Taught to Hate

One of the worst things a parent can do is teach their child to hate and have prejudice. You wouldn’t find a parent willing to furnish poison to make their child physically sick, so why is it alright to teach our children to hate and have prejudice. Unless a stronger influence comes into their life to counter react to this behavior, it will last an entire lifetime. I believe we are taught to hate, when we are very young. I don’t think it comes naturally.

Worthless

Do you ever feel worthless, unworthy, or not good enough? Do you look at yourself and make excuses for why you can’t be, do, or have what you want? Seeing yourself as unworthy will keep your desires at bay.

Get in touch with your inherent self-worth. The wisdom of the universe considers you so worthy that it gave you existence. If it didn’t you wouldn’t be here. Learn to be your own greatest fan and supporter.

If you don’t value yourself, other people won’t do it for you.

Change
Begin to value yourself and feel your self-worth by becoming your own greatest fan and supporter. Every time you accomplish something, give yourself a pat on the back. Seriously, say- great job, I am very proud of myself. It doesn’t have to be a big accomplishment, it could be getting your car washed, everything you do is valuable, begin to learn to appreciate yourself.

Here’s another:
Use affirmations. If you don’t believe in them, consider changing that belief and then put them to work for you. Look at yourself in the mirror; take a minute to really look. Then make eye contact and tell yourself:

I believe in myself,
I am inherently valuable and worth,
The universe applauds my life.

Repeat 5 times.

Practice Random Acts of Kindness

When you practice random acts of kindness, people in turn become inspired by your actions. If this spirit of giving and helping spreads, the world will become a much better place. Here are some hints of what you can do:

1. Leave a note for the mail person to tell them what a great job they are doing

2. In the world of technology, go onto someone's webpage that you like and comment about a blog post that you loved.

3. Leave a book that you have read... and loved... for someone else to find it and read it.

4. Drop a toy or game off at the local hospital waiting room.

5. Take a plate of cookies to a local seniors home or for the workers at a pet shelter.

Practice random acts of kindness, and you notice how easier your life becomes. Back to the serotonin (happy drug your body naturally produces) that Dr. Wayne Dyer spoke about is that studies show that the giver of the act of kindness actually receives more serotonin through the act of giving than the receiver does. Even more of a reason why the act of kindness should be a daily ritual.

Lessons Learned from Dogs

Man's best friend may lead a simple life of food, sleep, shelter, and the occasional frolic, but if you've ever noticed, your dog is almost always happy. Give him a little attention and he basks in it for as long as possible. Time to eat? Great! Just a treat? Even better (that means more food later)! Anything and everything you do (with the possible exception of scolding) brings great joy to your dog.
It kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it? It also seems a bit unfair. Here you are, worrying about life and it's many problems while your dog is sitting right by your side, enjoying life to its fullest.

People try to teach their dogs to sit, lie down, play dead, speak, and stay, but it may be wise to turn the tables (because dogs don't know how). Learn a thing or two from your dog. The lessons your dog can teach you may bring you peace of mind and newfound joy to your life

Subliminal Power

The proper use of subliminal messaging is very powerful in making life changes, Activate hidden areas of your mind, and release phobias and fears with subliminal messages. Olympic medalists and the U.S. Army are some of the users of subliminal programming.

Subliminal programming has been used by advertisers for years as an influencing factor in persuading a person to purchase a particular product. Subliminal messages can be sent visually and/or auditorially. These messages are not perceived by the normal awareness and consciousness; however, they do affect and influence the subconscious mind.

Usage of subliminal programming is a great asset to help affect one's consiousness in a effortless way that will affect behaviors, particularly, when a person is trying to attain certain goals. Like anything else, it is important to be consistent, and allow the process to work.

Be An Encourager

When it comes to encouragement I know that every one of us loves working for and with people who bring out the best in us. We love being around people who uplift us and make us feel great.

And while we'll always remember the negative people who told us we couldn't accomplish something, we will always cherish and hold a special place in our heart for those who encouraged us.

Today I want to encourage you to be an encourager. So often the difference between success and failure is belief. And so often that belief is instilled in us by someone who encouraged us.

Today decide to be that person who instills a positive belief in someone who needs to hear your encouraging words. Uplift someone who is feeling down. Fuel your team with your positive energy. Rally others to focus on what is possible rather than what seems impossible.
